Weekly return bus and ferry transportation between Mayne Island and Sidney, with Victoria stops by request.
This weekly Tuesday service is open to everyone and is offered by Mayne Island Assisted Living Society in collaboration with the Mayne Island Community Bus. The bus leaves the Mayne Island Library at 6 a.m. and the ferry terminal at 6:10 a.m., connecting with the 6:40 a.m. ferry to Swartz Bay; return travel leaves Sidney on the 4:20 p.m. ferry. Fares for return ferry and bus travel are CAD 15 for seniors age 65 and older and children, and CAD 25 for adults. Advance booking is required; 22 seats are available weekly.
