Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre is a provincial mental health facility for young people aged 7 to 17. There is no charge to attend with a referral. Referrals come through regional Child and Youth Mental Health offices. Ask a regional CYMH office or contact Maples for information about programming, current admission timelines and fit. The centre is located in Healing Spirit House on the former Essondale/Riverview lands.

Specialized inpatient mental health and substance use treatment for eligible adults from across BC.
Red Fish provides trauma-informed, culturally safe inpatient treatment and recovery for adults who have a complex mental illness and substance use disorder, where treatment needs exceed what local community health resources or a health authority can meet. BC residents aged 19 and over may be eligible. A physician or other health professional referral is required; ask your health care provider or addictions specialist to coordinate a referral. The typical stay is six to nine months. This is a provincial referral service located on the former Essondale/Riverview lands.
