Non-medical daily living and social support for seniors aged 65 and older.
Assists seniors aged 65 and older who are in general good health but need help with non-medical daily tasks to live independently at home and stay connected. Services include light housekeeping, grocery shopping, prescription pickup and delivery, prepared meals, group activities, library delivery, friendly visits, snow shovelling, minor home repairs, light yard work, and transportation to medical, critical, social, and recreational appointments. Fees apply to some services on an income-based sliding scale. Contact the program for hours and to discuss available supports. Serves Blaeberry, Donald, Field, Golden, Nicholson, and Parson.
