BC Transit Health Connections Kaslo/Nelson provides transportation for non-emergency medical appointments. Medical trips have priority, but anyone may ride if space is available. Route 76 serves Balfour Ferry, Ainsworth Hot Springs, Woodbury Resort, Mirror Lake and Kaslo; the live timetable includes selected trips to Nelson and Kootenay Lake Hospital by request. Current published trips run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with trip-specific days and times; booking 24 hours ahead is required by phone at 1-855-993-3100. It is a community bus: standees are not allowed and bike rack use is limited to daylight. Confirm schedule and booking before travel.
