Homeless Outreach Program - Maple Ridge

Outreach for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, including housing, income, identification, and service navigation support.
Workers meet people on the street, in shelters, or in temporary places to assess housing needs. Support includes referrals for emergency shelter, food, clothing, blankets, health care, counselling and addiction recovery; assistance obtaining identification and income assistance; help with housing applications, move-in, appointments and viewings; landlord liaison; and links to culturally appropriate services. Rent subsidies may be available. The 211 listing says the program serves Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows and operates Monday and Tuesday 8:30 am–8:30 pm, Wednesday–Friday 8:30 am–5 pm. Funded by BC Housing through the Homeless Outreach Program and Homeless Prevention Program.
