Elder, youth and wellness programs for We Wai Kai community members at Cape Mudge.
We Wai Kai Nation provides elder programs that include social connection, health and wellness activities, and transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, errands and community events. Youth programs include school-year weekday groups at the Cape Mudge Learning Centre for ages 6–12 and 12–17; schedules vary in summer. The wellness department runs fitness, mental health, cultural and food-related activities. These are Nation programs; contact the Cape Mudge Community Wellness Worker for eligibility, current schedule and sign-up requirements.
