Hixon Hall — Community Gathering Place

Hixon Hall is a multi-purpose gathering space used for yoga, community meetings, seasonal events, educational programs and private rentals. The hall received interior, lighting and air-conditioning upgrades completed in 2025 and can function as an emergency shelter during extreme summer heat. The Northern Development Initiative Trust reports it serves residents of Hixon, Woodpecker and Strathnaver. Contact the Hixon Community Association for current activities and rental details.
