Neighbourhood-based programs and activities promote health and well-being for families and people of all ages and incomes. The Centre describes its approach as inclusive, culturally sensitive, community-driven and open-door. Programs listed include the Twice Exceptional support group for families with neurodivergent children; Northern Health preventive dental care; Power Play early childhood development; a lending library; Baby’s New Beginnings for new mothers and babies; Clothesline; FRC Family Connections for people facing challenges; and room bookings for community connections. The centre is open to all families in Prince George and surrounding areas. The Prince George and District Elizabeth Fry Society coordinates day-to-day operations.
