Free one-to-one outreach counselling for youth ages 13–19 with substance use concerns, in Aldergrove and other named communities.
ASTRA counsellors meet youth in their communities and provide supportive, relational counselling to help youth reach goals related to problematic substance use. Eligibility: youth ages 13–19 who want to change their relationship with alcohol or drugs; support may extend to age 24 for youth already engaged. Referral may be made by youth, parents, caregivers, community supports or service providers. The program is free, Monday–Friday 8:30 am–4:30 pm.
