Home nursing, personal support, care planning, referrals, and assessed respite for community members.
The joint home nursing program is implemented by the Pavilion, Bridge River, and Cayoose Creek First Nations. Services include client assessment and care planning; chronic, acute, palliative, and rehabilitative nursing; referrals and coordination with other care providers; health teaching and consultation; and home support such as bathing, grooming, dressing, skin care, and mobility assistance. In-home respite is based on client assessment. Care is provided in the client’s home and/or at the Band office. Medical supplies may require a doctor’s prescription and approval. Contact the Home Care Assistant to ask about assessment and available supports.
