Niislaa Naay Healing House Society offers community health services to complement Northern Health and support Old Massett. Programs include communicable-disease education and response, immunization, tuberculosis education/treatment/contact tracing/screening, free harm-reduction supplies, school health support, diabetes education, foot care with home care, sexual-health screening and pregnancy tests. Posted hours are Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., closed noon–1 p.m. The community health nurse is now casual with reduced hours, and there may be periods when a nurse is unavailable; clients may be redirected to Northern Health.
