For emergencies requiring immediate fire, rescue or medical response, call 911. Non-urgent inquiries, inspections, permits and administration: 250-478-1307 during business hours. The District reports one fire station and 38 volunteer firefighters. Services include fire suppression, prevention and inspections, fire and life-safety education, rescue and vehicle extrication, and medical first response. The department is not staffed at the hall after regular business hours; after-hours response must be initiated through 911.
