McLeod Lake Indian Band’s Social and Health Department lists a Community Health Representative and health and wellness staff. Its home support worker provides home care to Elders and disabled persons in the community, including housekeeping, personal hygiene, meal preparation and Meals on Wheels. The department lists counselling and emotional support for McLeod Lake and Prince George MLIB residents dealing with substance use, grief, loss and relationships; child and youth support at schools and in both communities; Elder support at Golden Eagle Nest Complex; and a regular parent support group.
