Nature trails near Malakwa; the campground is temporarily closed.
BC Parks describes Eagle River Nature Trails on the north side of Highway 1, about 15 km east of Sicamous. A current BC Parks advisory mirrored by BC Parks Explorer reports that the Yard Creek campground is temporarily closed while management and permitting arrangements are reviewed. The CSRD reports that its operating contract ended after the 2025 season. Do not plan to camp here unless BC Parks confirms the campground has reopened. Trail #4 is also reported closed due to washout; check current park advisories before visiting.
