Provider: School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay)
School-only transportation route serving Baynes Lake and Jaffray area stops.
The current SD5 Elk Valley schedule page lists route J3-J4, named Jaffray-Baynes Lake Road/Newgate/Tie Lake. This is transportation for eligible registered students, not public transit. SD5 requires new bus riders to register; 2026/2027 registration is available. The current page does not expose a route-specific 2026/2027 timetable in the reviewed text, so confirm stops and times with Elk Valley Transportation before relying on them.
