Community-run food bank on Hornby Island with Comox Valley Food Bank support and governance.
The Comox Valley Food Bank took on management and governance of Hornby Island food bank services in July 2025, working alongside local volunteers. Hornby Island Educational Society continues to operate The Kitchen, including a hot meal and home delivery program. The food bank is based at Joe King Ball Park.
