The Golden Primary Care Centre houses the East Kootenay Primary Care Network team, maternity program, public health nursing, dental hygiene, newborn screening and chronic disease management. The multidisciplinary team includes nurses, a mental wellness clinician, social worker, dietitian, pharmacist, respiratory therapist and physiotherapist, working with physicians at Golden Medical Clinic. Primary care network and maternity services are accessed through a family physician at Golden Medical Clinic. Public health nursing and chronic disease management are accessed directly by phone. Open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
