Fire response in French Creek is divided between Parksville Fire Rescue and Qualicum Beach Fire Department service areas.
The RDN Electoral Area G assessment (July 2025) says French Creek fire protection is provided by Parksville and Qualicum Beach through agreements with the RDN; the division follows response-time boundaries. The RDN provides an address lookup to identify the responsible department because coverage is not uniform across French Creek. In an emergency call 9-1-1.
