Social activities for older adults and other community members, with Little Hall available for rent.
The society reports around 60 members and welcomes new members and volunteers of any age. Activities include monthly potlucks, a summer picnic, Christmas party, weekly cards and games, club meetings, quilting and art group. General meetings are the second Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM except July and August. Little Hall has a main area, kitchen and washroom, 65 padded chairs, 18 folding tables, and dinnerware/cutlery for 65. Games/cards drop-in is $3 including coffee/tea. Annual membership is $15. Published hall rental rates are $25/hour, $80 for four hours, or $140 for eight hours, with a separate $35 kitchen charge; discounted rates apply to members and service clubs. A refundable $100 damage deposit applies to larger events. Confirm current rates with the society.
