Doig River First Nation provides health services to its members and administrative staff. A full-time community nurse provides care plans, blood pressure checks, home visits, referrals, patient travel coordination, and health education. Doctors visit on-reserve every two weeks, with other visiting health professionals including optometrists, physiotherapists, foot-care specialists, diabetes-management specialists and nutritionists. Office contact hours are Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
