Primary care, dental, mental health, Elder day programming, medical transportation, nursing, and family health services.
Provides holistic health and wellness services rooted in Haida culture and traditions. Includes a Primary Care Clinic on Thursdays; a dental clinic providing educational, preventive and acute dental care; mental health supports including counselling, art therapy and support groups; an Adult Day Program for Elders with social activities and nutritious food (Monday to Friday, registration required); medical transportation for eligible community members to access services unavailable locally; chronic and communicable disease treatment, prevention and education; prenatal education; immunizations; infant and child assessments; family support; nursing, personal care and homemaking. The listing states service for all Skidegate Band members, other First Nations people, and non-Indigenous residents in Daajing Giids, Sandspit, Skidegate and Tlell. Centre hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
