The Coombs-Hilliers Volunteer Fire Department serves Coombs, Hilliers and Whiskey Creek in RDN Electoral Area F. It responds to structure fires, motor vehicle collisions, medical first response, road rescue, structural collapse, wildland events and burning complaints. Coombs Hall #1 is at 992 Ford Road; Hall #2 is at 3241 Alberni Highway, Qualicum Beach. For emergencies call 911.
