Squamish Nation reports that its Planning & Capital Projects team continually monitors the water system at Cheakamus. The source says water is tested weekly for bacteria and monthly for hard metals, meets the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality, and bottled water is provided to households that prefer it.
