Non-medical help for adults age 65 and over to remain independent at home.
For seniors age 65 and over in general good health who need help with non-medical daily tasks. Services may include light housekeeping, grocery shopping, friendly visits, minor home repairs, light yard work, prescription pickup and delivery, mail pickup and delivery, and transportation to medical and other appointments. Fees apply to some services on a sliding scale based on income. Program and office hours vary. Funded by the Ministry of Health and managed by United Way British Columbia.
