Non-medical support to help seniors aged 65 and older continue living independently at home.
The Slocan Valley program provides non-medical senior supports. Services may include housekeeping, shopping, transportation, yard work, snow shovelling and other supports; services vary by location. Fees may be based on income, and some services may be free. Contact the local coordinator to discuss eligibility, availability and costs.

Food distribution is on the first and third Thursday of each month, 11:00–15:00. Coffee, tea and lunch are available during distribution. Bring proof of address when registering; registration must be renewed each year, and bring bags or a box. Service-area information states it serves from Playmor Junction to New Denver and Hills.
