Short-term emergency assistance for people affected by emergencies or disasters in the Bulkley-Nechako region. The Vanderhoof ESS team covers Electoral Area F, which includes Braeside.
Regional District volunteers provide Emergency Support Services when activated for an emergency or disaster. The Vanderhoof ESS team covers Electoral Areas D and F, the District of Vanderhoof, Village of Fraser Lake and Fort Fraser. Short-term assistance can include emergency lodging, food, clothing, registration and inquiry, depending on the incident and available resources. Contact the RDBN Protective Services office for information about the program; check local emergency instructions during an active event.
