Oceanside emergency support for residents affected by a disaster, including short-term food, lodging, clothing, family reunification, information and referral.
RDN Emergency Support Services (ESS) provides short-term basic support to people displaced by emergencies. Help may include food, lodging, clothing, family reunification, information, emotional support, childcare, first aid and pet care. Eligibility depends on the event and need; ESS is not ongoing housing or income assistance. The RDN ESS FAQ gives current eligibility and deployment details. An RDN 2019 report places Oceanside ESS volunteers throughout the response area from Lighthouse/Bowser to Nanoose Bay.
