Non-medical home support that helps seniors maintain independent living and stay connected to their communities.
Assists seniors aged 65 and over who are in general good health but need help with non-medical daily tasks. Support includes friendly visits, grocery shopping and delivery, light housekeeping and yard work, snow shovelling, and minor home repairs. Transportation is available for appointments in Quesnel and Prince George. Some services have sliding-scale fees based on income. Hours vary. The program is funded by the Ministry of Health and managed by United Way British Columbia.
