Call or text on the Tuesday before pickup between 10:00 and 15:00. Pickup is the second Wednesday of each month from 11:00 to 12:00. Non-perishable food donations are accepted at Gillies Bay General Store, Texada Market and First Credit Union in Van Anda. The island health centre provides primary care and urgent care. Visits are by appointment except emergencies; lab tests are by appointment. Published clinic hours in the Texada community directory: Monday to Thursday 08:30–11:45 and 13:15–16:00; Friday 08:30–11:45. Verify hours before travelling.
