Free counselling, assessment, treatment, referrals, and support groups for adults and youth in Birch Island and area.
Adult mental health assessment and treatment for mental health disorders, self-destructive behaviours, family issues, stress, and daily-living difficulties. Counselling for adults and youth dealing with alcohol or drug issues, including support for people affected by someone else’s substance use. General community counselling, referrals to treatment and detox programs, and support groups are also available. Counselling is in person or virtual. Free; no referral required. Serves Clearwater and area including Avola, Birch Island, Blackpool, Blue River, Little Fort, and Vavenby. Office hours Monday–Friday 08:30–12:00 and 13:00–16:30; program hours vary.
