Mobile, in-person mental health crisis response for people aged 13 and older in Kelowna.
CRCL provides confidential, voluntary, consent-based, trauma-informed in-person support wherever the person is in the community. Call or text 778-940-2560. Service hours are 11:00–20:30, seven days a week. The service is not a police response; police are involved only where imminent risk requires emergency intervention.
Outreach and shelter supports for people experiencing homelessness in Kelowna.
The outreach team meets people where they are and offers food, clothing, hygiene items, basic health support, and connections to shelter, housing pathways, health care, identification support, mental health and substance-use services, and other community resources. The Leon Shelter has 60 emergency beds for men seeking to maintain sobriety, with showers, laundry, hygiene supplies, and three meals daily. The Bay Ave Community Shelter is co-ed and offers meals, washrooms, and case management. Call the Mission to ask about current access and availability.
Food hampers for Kelowna residents experiencing food insecurity.
Registered households may receive a food hamper once every 28 days, by appointment. Registration requires photo ID for adults over 18, ID for children, and proof of a current Kelowna or West Kelowna address. Kelowna distribution is Monday to Saturday, 9:00–11:30 and 12:00–15:00; closed on BC statutory holidays.
