Colwood waterfront offers beachfront walking, beachcombing, water play and public access. Across Ocean Boulevard, Esquimalt Lagoon National Migratory Bird Sanctuary is a bird-watching and calm-water paddling area. Accessible features include a walk along Ocean Boulevard, an accessible art space and washroom. Dogs must be on-leash within the sanctuary and visitors should not feed the birds.
