Free showers and basic supplies for people without regular access to a shower.
Provides access to showers, toiletries, towels and other support services for community members who would otherwise not have access to a shower. A 2026 District budget document says the program also provides hygiene products, snacks and a warm nutritious meal at no cost. The program is held at the West Vancouver Community Centre; it does not operate on statutory holidays.

Free bag of groceries for North Shore residents needing immediate food support.
Harvest Project partners with St. Andrew’s United Church to distribute a free bag of groceries to visitors needing immediate help, waiting to join the Client-Care Program, or transitioning from other Harvest Project programs. Distribution is at St. Andrew’s United Church, in the Friendship Room.

Weekly food distribution at North Shore Neighbourhood House for registered food bank clients.
The Greater Vancouver Food Bank distributes food at North Shore Neighbourhood House on Wednesdays, 9 am–6 pm, when the site is open on the current GVFB calendar. Bring a GVFB food bank card. New clients must arrange a registration appointment; people experiencing food insecurity who live on the North Shore are eligible. A new client receives food at the first distribution visit with their own identification while household dependants are registered.

Navigators help identify needs and goals and work through barriers to accessing services. They can make referrals, assist with forms and applications, help with housing, income and disability applications, connect people with food banks and meal programs, and provide follow-up. Meetings are in person, by video call or by phone; home visits are not offered.
Individual and small group social prescribing support for seniors aged 55 and older.
Provides support for caregiver needs, food security and prepared meals, housing, legal advocacy, financial support, social isolation, transportation, mobile safety, and mental and physical health. Contact the program coordinator by phone, email, referral form, or in person at the Seniors’ Activity Centre.
