Regional lake and trail park in Metchosin for walking, hiking, cycling, swimming, fishing and picnicking.
The 156.97-hectare park is accessed from Matheson Lake Park Road and is open sunrise to sunset. Amenities include a parking lot, information kiosk, picnic area, toilet, rest area and public transit. The moderate loop trail circles the lake and connects with the Galloping Goose Regional Trail. Activities include swimming, fishing, canoeing, hiking and horseback riding. Dogs are not allowed to stop in the designated main beach area June 1 to September 15. Follow posted park rules.
