Health, wellness, family, early-years, home-care, mental-wellness, and community support programs for Adams Lake Indian Band members.
The Band coordinates community health nursing, home-care nursing, maternal and child health, diabetes support, mental wellness and addictions counselling, Aboriginal Head Start, early years and child development, children’s oral health, nutrition and community kitchens, medical travel, social assistance, family support, and Elders programs. Some programs may be available to non-band members or the public; eligibility differs by program. Health Expense Support Funds have strict annual guidelines and are intended for eligible members with unplanned health costs. Patient travel support must be confirmed and arranged in advance. The Sexqeltqin Health Centre is at 6424 Village Road, Chase; the Band administration address is 6453 Hillcrest Road, Chase.
