Drop-in practical assistance, outreach, case management, health access, and referrals for Abbotsford and Mission.
Provides emergency food, clothing and household goods, lay counselling, disaster services, phone access, and daily shower and laundry access from 2 am to 4 pm. Outreach supports people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, difficult to house, or in crisis, with housing assessment, referrals, help obtaining ID and income assistance, and support with housing applications, appointments, viewings and move-in. On-site weekly access includes a nurse, nurse practitioner, physician and income assistance worker. A nurse practitioner and practical nurse provide foot care, blood pressure monitoring, diabetes and STI education and testing, vaccinations, and referral advocacy. Office hours are 9 am to noon and 1 pm to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Serves Abbotsford and Mission.
